They thoroughly consider anxiety, causes of anxiety and resilience in managing anxiety. They discuss how conscious or unconscious limiting beliefs and attitudes affect family communication and also how they are transferred into anxiety. They agree upon realistic expectations in an environment in which they can freely express their expectations.<\/p>\n<p><b>Workshop Outcomes: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Different models of the self (ideal-actual-ought selves) by examining expectations of family and their own expectations from themselves during the process of career decision are identified.<\/li>\n<li>Realistic and unrealistic expectations are distinguished.<\/li>\n<li>Anxiety as an emotional state is defined. The physiological reactions related with anxiety are understood.<\/li>\n<li>Negative automatic thoughts (e.g.: I am not smart enough, I can not succeed, They are better than me) which trigger anxiety are identified.<\/li>\n<li>The role of showing effort, developing new abilities and taking responsibility in managing anxiety is considered.<\/li>\n<li>The concept of resilience that is effective in managing life is learned.<\/li>\n<li>The link between internal factors (e.g. instincts, needs, emotions, beliefs and values) that unconsciously affect decisions and anxiety is understood.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>Participants receive Effective Communication in the Family: From Anxiety to Resilience Workshop participation document after completion of the
