It will be most beneficial for students who have sufficient time and can be more flexible in their high school or IB subject selection. The 300 question TurQuest Inventory provides students with detailed information about the career areas\/occupations in line with their interests. In light of this information, they make informed choices about their high-school subjects and\/or university degrees. They research different sectors and sector values. They assess their personal suitability of career areas by completing mini self check questionnaires. Accordingly, they make a career action plan. Students consider career planning as a process, and reflect on their unique definitions of success, happiness, life, and career values.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Workshop Outcomes:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They work on the internal factors such as instincts, needs, emotions, beliefs and values that unconsciously affect students\u2019 decisions. Students also start to understand the reasons behind their behaviours and things they do or don\u2019t.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They list the career areas, occupations, and university degrees in line with their interests provided in the TurQuest inventory.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They discover which aptitudes are required in different occupations through the Aptitude Inventory, and identify the areas they need to improve on.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They discover interests that they are not yet aware of and match them with careers\/occupations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through TurQuest, students learn that interest in a certain occupation is not sufficient: they also need to be interested in the areas that support this career on a day to day basis. For instance, a student\u2019s interest in fashion design may be 100% but they may have a lower interest in supporting areas such as IT or retail\/buying\/selling. The can decrease<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the numerical overall match value for a career in fashion design to 50%. Being aware of this when planning their career is vital to\u00a0 being prepared and preventing disappointment in the long run.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students gain knowledge about sectors, organisational structures (manager, expert, administrative staff etc.) and sectoral values.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They explore their options from a multidisciplinary perspective and make short-medium-and long-term action plans.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They clarify which areas require further research and seek advice from others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They learn about occupations which combine different career areas (e.g. biomedical engineering which combines medicine and engineering).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They have instant access to the TurQuest report and the listed career areas via the app.<br \/><\/span><b style=\"color: #555555;\">Notes:\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Participants
